Welcome to Class 8W.

This term Class 8W are studying World War II. The particular focus is the Holocaust and the impact on the European Jewish community. Pupils have handled the details with sensitivity and showed great maturity asking relevant questions to develop their understanding.

Class 8W have also enjoyed an Art project focusing on expression. As part of this topic pupils have looked at the work of graffiti artists and designed their own ‘name tag’.  This has then been transferred on the cushion covers. Each pupil has work very hard to make a unique design.

Other topics this academic year include, extreme weather, oceans of the world and the story of the Titanic. We look forward to sharing more of our work this year.
