Thank you to Mr Sandy Damm the Group CEO of Bull Products for the donation of Sports Leaders Kit
Wed 17 Apr 2024Today we welcomed back Sandy Damm the Group CEO of Bull Products who has previously come into school for the presentation of the Key Stage 4 football kit that the company sponsored last year. This year the Bull Products group have kindly supported our sports leaders programme with another one of the groups companies, Cygnus, who are manufactures and suppliers of wireless fire alarm systems. Sandy was joined by Marketing Executive Biancha Markham who shared how impressed she was with the leaders confidence and how smart they looked.
We are really grateful for the companies continued support, the leaders look so professional and it’s really helped them stand out from the crowd when they are leading their sessions to younger peers.

Purple leaf Year 7
Fri 22 Mar 2024Purple Leaf
The Purple Leaf Education Programme (funded by West Mercia Police and Crime Commissioner) increases young people’s awareness of sexual abuse, harassment, and exploitation. At an age-appropriate level which complements Relationships Education guidance for schools, the programme equips them with the skills, knowledge, and tools to be able to identify healthy and unhealthy relationships and behaviours and to know where to go for help and support.
Our programme is designed to be delivered over 6 sessions of 45-60mins. It will be delivered by two facilitators, both of whom are subject matter experts in this field. The sessions are mostly discussion based with some short activities, and are designed to provide young people with information that is factual, non-judgemental, uses correct terminology and is in an accessible format.
Support available
Support is available during and after the session to anyone who needs it. We will also ensure that the students are aware of the different types of support available to them at every session.
For more information about the Purple Leaf education programme please speak to your school representative or contact Purple Leaf on 01905 677444, email us via enquiries@purpleleaf.org.uk or visit our website www.purpleleaf.org.uk
Parent session will be held on the 10th April at 1:30 for an hour in Ashley Read (FSW) room.

Halo Leisure Centre
Thu 08 Feb 2024Pupils from year 8 upwards have been busy developing and completing their personal exercise programmes at Halo Gym. Health & Fitness is a big part of our PE curriculum and pupils have been busy applying the key theoretical knowledge learnt in the classroom to be able to design and follow their own programme independently.
Many of our pupils, both past and present have gone on to join the gym following our free inductions and taster sessions within the curriculum. Our pupils have been a credit to the school when attending the gym and Mr Reed has been proud to have members of the public complimenting them on their independence and excellent manners.
Don’t forget Thursday after school club changes to the gym after half term, an additional chance to have a session at the gym to build your fitness and confidence. 3.30pm finish, contact Mr Reed to sign up.
A huge thank you to Halo Leisure Centre staff for their excellent support and advice they offer our pupils and the fantastic partnership the school has with them.

Enrichment Session - MFA Bowling
Sun 14 Jan 20247W and a few others from KS4 enjoyed a trip to MFA Bowling during enrichment this week. Great to see them all developing confidence and technique with every go and also developing their social skills and teamwork in a community setting. All that attended were a credit to the school.
Callum W took top KS4 score, Leo took top year 7 and on his 12th birthday to boot! Despite a strong start from Sophie, she was unable to hold off a fight back from James as he took the best adult as the class TAs joined in. We look forward to offering a trip to the bowling to more pupils over the coming weeks as part of our enrichment programme.
