Today I had the pleasure of assisting the Bikeability instructors with a group of 9 pupils, from across year 7-10 as they completed their Level 2 Bikeability.  It was fantastic to see their confidence and awareness increase through the day, showing a fantastic ability to learn and adapt to a changing environment around them.  Many of our pupils are confident riders, but may lack road sense and awareness when out on the road, something the expert instructors teach them.  It is a fantastic life skill to have and to know our pupils are safer and more aware when out on a bike is a wonderful thing.  We now have over 80% of pupils from year 7-11 that have completed the course and have 2 further dates in the autumn to hit a similar figure in years 5-6.  A big thanks to Steve, Emma and Sue for their expertise, care and attention to detail in ensuring all our pupils completed the course.
