Pupils from year 8-11 have been trying the new activity of pickleball this half term, a fairly new sport but one that is rapidly growing in popularity. The sport is a cross between table tennis and tennis and is played on a badminton sized court. Pupils have been transferring key skills they've learnt last half term in tennis and challenging themselves to explore more and more tactical principles too. It's a great activity and one you can access at Halo Leisure Centre at a very affordable cost. All equipment is included should you want to try it as a family, just book a court and turn up.
