Primary School Games 2.7.2025
This week we took all primary pupils and year 7 to the Summer School Games hosted by Stride Active at the Hereford Leisure Centre, an event with 2000 young people from over 70 schools across the county. It was fantastic to see so many pupils show all of our school values and work with such teamwork and friendship. The Dodgeball team from 7W came home with 3rd overall from 14 different schools competing and the rounders team made up of Marvels class matched their efforts with 3rd overall out of the 12 schools involved, an incredible achievement considering both teams had less players than their competition due to illness and absence. A team made up of pupils from Incredibles and Titans also showed fantastic commitment and determination to compete so well in the Athletics despite being a few team members down. Titans also had a fantastic time in the sports arena trying a number of different sports from weightlifting to bowls and much much more.
We are all extremely proud of the pupils who were a credit to the school both in terms of their behaviour and their participation.
