We have a monthly theme which links to our cultural and PSHE calendar (file attached). We look at events like Black History Month, Anti Bullying Week or Pride and we link these to British Values. We share assemblies and create work linked to this theme to hsare with parents and our wide community. We are pleased to be welcoming some ex service men to our Remembrance Day service in school. 

We are currently working on our new Equality Objectives and will share these shortly.  Our School Council will also be asked about a LGBTQ+ committee or representatives as this is something we have been talking about. We are really aware of local issues affecting us here in Hereford and so have been looking at knife crime in particular - we were pleased to announce that two KS4 pupils won the Police Knife Crime poster award back in February.
